Frequently asked questions

Answers before buying a CapitalGuard license.

Payment, delivery, authorization, refunds, upgrades, monitoring, agency packaging, and partner attribution in one place.

Buying

What can I buy right now?

Starter, Growth, and Pro are the live one-time CapitalGuard licenses. Starter covers one authorized repo scan, Growth covers three scans, and Pro covers ten scans plus the full report workflow.

Is this a subscription?

Starter, Growth, and Pro are one-time licenses with one year of product updates. Monitoring is a separate recurring layer only after the first licensed baseline and scope review.

Who handles payment?

Stripe handles the hosted payment page. CapitalGuard handles license delivery, activation, scan intake, reports, policy files, and support after payment verification.

Can I buy multiple licenses?

Yes. Multi-license and agency packs are built through the cart so bundle economics, support preference, buyer email, and campaign attribution are preserved before review.

Delivery

What happens after payment?

Keep the Stripe receipt, open the delivery vault, activate the license, and submit only authorized repository scope. The post-payment handoff page is available if the vault does not open automatically.

Do I get something immediately?

Yes. The buyer can access the delivery vault, activation path, buyer kit downloads, policy assets, support routes, and scan-intake handoff after payment verification.

What if I lose the delivery link?

Use delivery access recovery with the purchase email and Stripe receipt reference. CapitalGuard matches the payment record before private delivery is resent.

What does the support add-on include?

Lifetime delivery support covers activation questions, delivery vault access recovery, receipt-to-license handoff help, and first policy-installation guidance for the purchased license.

Scanning

Will CapitalGuard scan any repository?

No. A scan requires ownership confirmation or written authorization. CapitalGuard is a defensive service and rejects unauthorized scope.

Do I need to provide production secrets?

No. CapitalGuard reports exposure patterns, file paths, severity, and preventive controls while keeping secret-like values redacted in buyer-facing reports and screens.

Does CapitalGuard fix the issues?

CapitalGuard detects AI-agent exposure, explains business impact, and provides prevention guidance and policy assets. It does not promise full remediation, breach prevention, or compliance certification.

What kinds of risks are checked?

The threat library covers prompt-injection paths, exposed secret context, dangerous agent-readable files, unsafe workflow automation, agent tool bridges, dependency scripts, production access paths, and customer-data context.

Upgrades

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Starter can move to Growth, Growth can move to Pro, and Pro can move into reviewed agency or monitoring scope after payment verification.

How does upgrade credit work?

CapitalGuard verifies the original purchase and issues a difference-only checkout or manual invoice when the scope qualifies.

When does monitoring make sense?

Monitoring is useful after the first licensed baseline when repositories, AI tools, access rules, or customer diligence requirements keep changing.

Can agencies resell the workflow?

Agencies can package CapitalGuard around client onboarding, AI adoption reviews, or diligence workflows, but they must keep authorization and claim boundaries accurate.

Policy

Are delivered licenses refundable?

Delivered digital licenses are generally final. Duplicate payment, inability to fulfill, authorization-scope issues, and fraud or abuse are handled through the license and refund policy.

Can partners promise guaranteed protection?

No. Partner and buyer-facing claims must stay accurate: CapitalGuard detects exposure and guides precautions without promising complete protection or compliance certification.

What should I read before paying?

Review the license and refund policy, delivery vault, proof ledger, and sample report before selecting the license that matches the current scope.

How is partner attribution handled?

Approved partner codes are preserved through tracked referral links and checkout references. Attribution does not change authorization rules or repository access requirements.
